Abstract

The proposed technique introduces an innovative approach for the non-destructive determination of residual stresses by utilizing high-density current pulses (HDCP) along with the shearography method. During the testing of known stress state samples, graphs showing the dependence of ∂w/∂x on the stress state were acquired. Using this data as a foundation, algorithms were developed to determine residual stresses in elements of structures.
