Electrochemical Properties of Ni–Fe Raney-Type Nanopowders Obtained via Leaching
Keywords
Ni-MH, electrode, catalyst, hydrolysis, nanopowders
Abstract
Ni–Fe Raney-type nanopowders were synthesized via leaching. The obtained materials were analyzed using scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction. The crystallite size was found to be in the range of 10–100 nm. The materials demonstrated high electrochemical activity and showed promise as standalone negative electrodes for Ni-MH batteries, as well as electrically conductive binders for anodic materials.
